News: About Coffee Shop Talk

Well, I am officially back to work!  I am working part time in the same office where Tyrel works at New Life Church. My official title is Desperation Internships Administrator.  I am absolutely honored and excited to have this opportunity.  Not only am I able to be in "the mix" of things involving the Desperation Leadership Academy (which Tyrel is the director of) and use the "administrator" part of my brain again, I am also making some money again!  God is good and found a PERFECT fit for my schedule and mom-demands in giving me this job.  Yeah!

On to other things...I wanted to update you all on some things I'm going to be changing.  As I am approaching 27 years of age (Yikes!...and Woohoo!) I am truly starting to discover some things about myself that I did not know.  I have been praying for almost a decade about what I should "do with my life" and more fiercely praying the last 2 years.  Well, God is flooding me with answers.  As most of you who know me know, I love to write.  I am trying to write more too (thus, I have a Blog).  I have known for a while that I will one day write a book, books or just simply be a writer.  So I concluded that until that day comes, I can BLOG.  And, I LOVE blogging.

So...finally here's what's changing: I am going to commit to blogging 3 times a week!  This is exciting for me- and I'm hoping it is for to you too! As I told Tyrel, after I blog it's like a release in my brain because the thoughts, ideas and concepts I think about (and there are many) swarm around in my mind until I can get them all out in one sitting.  I so appreciate you reading (and commenting!).  I am thankful for this outlet and I hope you will join me in this journey.

Over the next several weeks I will be changing some things about my blog (title, layout, colors, etc.).  Simple things, but the content will remain.  I've already changed the title to "Coffee Shop Talk".  The blog is going to be (and has been) about anything and everything one might chat about at a coffee shop (my preferred shop, Starbucks).  So, please, comment.  Let me know any ideas, questions, or topics you would like to hear and talk about!  I like to think.  I LOVE to write.  And I enjoy reading.  Join the talk and let's dive in...

P.S. Be sure to check out my posting from earlier this week and let me know your thoughts!
And...now, after all this coffee talk (no pun intended), I am craving a Breve Chai.
